During our recent family vacation at the Lantern Boutique Hotel in Sri Lanka, we experienced a mix of challenges and delights that ultimately led to a memorable stay. Our arrival was initially marred by an overbooking issue, which shifted us to a less-than-ideal room. After expressing our concerns, we were graciously moved to a lovely ocean view room that enhanced our experience significantly. The hotel itself is well-equipped for families, with enjoyable amenities such as lovely swimming pools and direct beach access, allowing us to unwind and create unforgettable moments together. One highlight was our morning safari through Yala National Park, where we spotted diverse wildlife, making it an enriching adventure for both my husband and our child. While the beginning of our stay was rocky, the staff's willingness to assist turned our experience around. Their support ensured we made the most of our time in this beautiful locale. Lantern Boutique Hotel proved to be a welcoming destination for families, affirming our choice for a family-friendly retreat. We'll consider returning for future holidays.
